Jan. 6: AABGDR has successfully placed 2 dogs into their forever homes. In addition, we will be taking 3 more into medical foster to help socialize and battle the demodex. We will be working diligently to assist in the placement of several other dogs and find foster homes for those that are not ready to be adopted. We are in need of donations to help defer the cost of veterinary care and purchase dog food. If you would like to foster or volunteer, please go to our Forms page and complete an application.

Jan. 5: Brutus has found a forever home! Visit the Successful Adoptions page for more details.

Jan. 1: Above and Beyond Great Dane Rescue is involved with helping to place many Dane puppies that were recently taken from a puppy mill. These dogs were emaciated, have demodex, and many of them had Giardia. Their legs are malformed from living their lives in kennels or on cement slabs. They are unsure of humans and some are fearful. We need medical foster homes to help get these puppies back on their feet and healthy. These dogs need extra time, attention, and may need medical care for months to come. All of our volunteer and adoption forms are available on the Forms page of our web site.
