WentworthDSC0608sm

Wentworth is an 18mnth old merle. He is very much a puppy and requires plenty of playtime and exercise. He is a bit unsure of himself and will continue to need confidence building. We highly recommend obedience classes to help build his confidence and his new owner's.

He gets along with other dogs and gets. He can be rambunctious so his foster mom has taught him "leave it". He responds very well to that command. He sits politely for leashing, prior to eating, and when he's waiting for a treat. We have taught him to walk on a Sensi-ble Harness and it works well for him. He loves to chew so making sure there are plenty of appropriate toys around are a must.

Wentworth has also had his stomach tacked to decrease any incidence of bloat. As with all of our Danes, a diet of high quality kibble is required.

This dog will not be adopted to Massachusetts.

Millie is a 1 1/2 year old (approximately) female Dane/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. She was found as a stray and was heartworm and lyme positive. She is now done her heartworm and lyme treatment and will go for her spay.

Millie is incredibly strong and learning to walk on a leash. She is loyal, obediant, super smart, and incredibly affectionate with her people. She does not do well with small dogs or cats. She is also very nervous when riding in a car so we are going to try and help her overcome that. When she's home and hanging with her people she is super sweet and does well with larger dogs. Millie would do best in an environment as an only dog or with just one other dog that is about her size.

Because we do not know her history, she will not be placed with children. Will you give her a chance?

This dog will be adopted to Maine or New Hampshire only.
